@BirdLife South Africa announced their Bird of the Year for 2024: the Bateleur (Terathopius ecaudatus)!
The raptor is famous for its eye-catching appearance and definitely one of the most iconic bird to spot in Africa. We have been privileged with many fantastic sightings over the years.
