Transpantaneira dirt road- a 145 km stretch through the northern Pantanal, offering prime wildlife and birdwatching viewing. It passes through wetlands, savannas, and forests, with wooden bridges crossing streams.
Piuval Lodge – This nature-focused lodge is located near the start of the Transpantaneira road. It offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, including birds like the Hyacinth Macaw and Toco Toucan. Mammals such as Capybaras and Giant Anteaters can also be seen here.
Aymara Lodge – Located at kilometer 25 of the Transpantaneira, Aymara Lodge sits within a 238-hectare Private Nature Reserve, home to a diverse array of the region’s flora and fauna. Chapada dos Guimarães National Park – a stunning protected area in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich biodiversity, and fascinating geological formations.
